CHAMPIONSHIP + Oregon Open III

Great Participation + Great Sportsmanship + Moment of Remembrance = 
An Action Packed Day! ! !

On Saturday, August 13, two tournaments took place at Century High School in Hillsboro, Oregon: The Oregon Open III and the Sub-League CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! With over 125 competitors and an audience of 100+ folks, it was a day full a fantastic submission wrestling matches. 

A Solemn Moment:
The Northwest grappling community was devastated to learn of the sudden and untimely passing of one of our best young competitors - Trevor Palmer. Trevor has competed in everyone of the Sub-League events this year -- winning all of them (Division Y5 and B1). But more than that, Trevor embodied the positive attributes of our sport -- he was a great competitor, a super sportsman, and he burned with the desire to always improve and grow. His presence will be deeply missed. Our condolences and heart goes out to his family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held for Trevor on Thursday, August 18th, at 2pm at Lincoln Memorial Center.
